Dec 31, 2011 – A Year in Review

As I type this blog, I am sitting in the UW basketball media room with 1 hour away from tip off, and only 6 hours from ringing in the new year. And what a year it has been.

As I posted on my Facebook page earlier today, including tonight, I have covered the following number of sport assignments:

  • x10 NFL football games
  • x43 MLB baseball games
  • x27 Professional soccer games (USA & International)
  • x6 NCAA Football games
  • x11 NCAA Basketball games

Out of all the assignments this year, I would have to say my favorite two were the 2011 US Open Cup Finals in Seattle and the opening day of the Seattle Mariners where they honored the late Davie Niehaus prior to the game.

This year has had a lot of ups and downs in my photography and personal life, so I say bring on 2012! Hope everyone has a fun and safe New Years Eve tonight. Cheers!

Dec 31, 2011 – Sports Portfolios Finally Updated

I have updated all my sports photography portfolios including MLB Baseball, NFL Football, Professional Soccer, NCAA Football and NCAA Basketball. Remind me to update it throughout the 2012 seasons, not all during the last few days of the year :-)

Dec 28, 2011 – Photo of the Day – No Shooting!

Today’s photo of the day was taken this past Monday while out exploring the wilderness area near Ellensburg,WA with my father. When you shoot 99% sports photography like me, it’s always good to get out and photograph something different to keep you from buying out. And spending time with family is always a plus. In 2012, my plan is to get out more and photograph this beautiful state that I live in.
