This past Thursday and Friday I was given a unique assignment to cover a sport that I have never photographed before, diving. I was assigned to the United States Olympic Team Trial finals taking place at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic center in Federal Way, WA. Little did I know how difficult it would be to photograph diving especially when in an indoor, lowlight facility. All together, I am pretty happy with the results of the assignment considering the conditions and the shooting locations we (photographers) were limited to during the competitions.
Here are a few of my favorite shots from the assignment.
