Sounders FC win again. That’s now 5 games in a row they have defeated their MLS opponent. This past Wednesday night the Sounders FC played a rare midweek game against FC Dallas in Seattle. As usually, the Sounders put on a show and came back from 1-0 to win the game 2-1 even after only 3 days rest since the last game (vs Philadelphia).
Another note, the weather was absolutely perfect. The only way it could have been better is if the game started earlier and we were able to utilize the soft light the entire game. Oh well, beggars can’t be choosers right? Below are a few of my favorite photos from the game.
It’s been awhile since posting a new blog. Why? I have been extremely busy with my day job as a commercial photographer and with sports assignments. So what a better way to get the blog rolling again then a post about one of the coolest assignments I have had to date, a Men’s World Cup Soccer Qualifier between the USA and Panama in my hometown of Seattle, WA.
I feel extremely lucky to have had the chance to photograph this incredible game and hope that more opportunities like this come my way in the near future. Enjoy the photos!
Today’s photo(s) of the day are a couple of my favorite shots while on assignment covering the Seattle Sounders FC vs San Jose Earthquakes this past Saturday night (March 31). At the end of the game, the Sounders FC were defeated by San Jose 1-0.
